Sir David Attenborough and my uncle Liam have a lot to answer for - notably my passion for the natural world which ignited early thanks to the amazing documentaries of the former and the wonderful coffee table books that accompanied those series, gifted to me by the latter.
My photography obsession also started young, when I witnessed in a darkroom an image slowly materialise on a sheet of paper right before my eyes .
Well actually before my eyes on TV. It was a scene in a movie whose name escapes me now but that doesn’t matter. What matters is the feeling. When I think back to that moment it’s like it was yesterday.
It was mesmerising. Life changing. It sucked me in and I’ve been hooked ever since.
